Step 1: Using the 8mm wrench, disconnect the battery's negative cable.
Step 2: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (2) behind the interior door pull.
Step 3: Pry and remove the interior door pull/window control trim panel. Push all of the switches THROUGH the trim panel, and disconnect the wiring harness attached to each one.
Step 4: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (2) that are located behind the trim panel removed in Step 3 and the bottom corner of the panel.
Step 5: You can now lift and remove the interior door panel.
Step 6: GENTLY peel back the water shield. Be careful not to tear it, as we'll need to reattach it later!
Step 7: Using the drill with a 3/8 inch bit, drill the center of the rivets (4) that secure the regulator to the door frame.
Step 8: Disconnect the window motor's wiring harness (1).
Step 9: Separate the window from the regulator's rail. Secure the window pane to the TOP of the window frame using the painter's tape.
Step 10: Pry and remove the remaining pieces of the rivets (4), and remove the power window regulator assembly from the door frame.
Step 11: Mount the new power window regulator by using the short bolts/nuts to replace the rivets (4). Connect the motor's wiring harness (1).
Step 12: CAREFULLY lower the window pane onto the power window regulator's rail and secure it.
Step 13: Reattach the water shield.
Step 14: To reattach the interior door panel, simply reverse the removal process.
Be sure to tighten the Phillips screws (4), reconnect all wiring harnesses, and reattach the plugs to the trim panel (and then, of course, the trim panel to the door).
