Step 2: Loosen and remove the 13mm bolts (2) that are on the brace that spans the engine compartment. Remove this brace.
Step 3: Disconnect the wiring harnesses that power the cooling fans.
These clips are located in the center of the cooling fan assembly, near the bottom.
Step 4: Using the flathead screwdriver, remove the retaining clips (2) that hold the assembly to the radiator.
These are located on the top of the radiator mount.
Step 5: Using the 10mm socket/extension, loosen and remove the 10mm mounting bolts (4) that hold the cooling fan to the radiator.
Two are located on each side - one on the upper end and one on the lower end per side.
Step 6: Pry the retaining clips that hold the fan to the radiator free from the assembly.
NOTE: We recommend using the two flathead screwdrivers to pry them free. These clips are located where the mounting bolts rest. This can be tricky, so be patient!
Step 7: You can now lift and remove the cooling fan assembly.
Step 8: Insert the cooling fan assembly (connection end down).
The tabs on the assembly should fit snugly BEHIND the small brackets on the radiator.
Step 9: Reattach the clips and tighten the 10mm mounting bolts (4).
Step 10: Reattach the retaining clips (2) located on top of the radiator assembly.
Step 11: Connect the cooling fan wiring harness.
Step 12: Tighten the 13mm bolts (2) that hold the cross brace in place.
