1992-2003 Honda Accord, Acura CL, TL Wiper Switch Replacement Instructions, Install, Change (1993 1994 1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002)

Tools required:

Phillips screwdriver

Flathead screwdriver (small)

Step 1: Disconnect the vehicle's negative battery cable.

Step 2: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (3) located on the underside of the steering column.

Step 3: You can now remove the 2-piece cover that surrounds the steering column.

Step 4: Turn the wheel to expose the Phillips screws (2) that secure the wiper switch stalk assembly in place. Loosen and remove these screws.

NOTE: You may need to turn the key to move the steering wheel enough to expose these screws.

Step 5: Using the flathead screwdriver, pry and remove the wiper switch. Disconnect the wiring harnesses (2) attached to the base of the switch stalk.

Step 6: Connect the wiring harnesses (2) to the new wiper switch.

Step 7: Insert the switch into the steering column, and secure it by tightening the Phillips screws (2).

Step 8: Reattach the trim panels that surround the steering column by tightening the Phillips screws (3).
